Sunday November 11, 2012 from 3-6 pm, the Regenerations Botanical Garden is hosting a Seed Saving and Improvement workshop at Children of the Land Center for Polynesian Culture in Kapaa next to Papayas.
Recently added to my PhotoShelter archive are photos from last year’s Kauai Seed Basics Workshop where I learned so much about seed saving from the experience. It was held Nov. 6-8, 2011 on Kauai by Nancy Redfeather, Coordinator for The Hawai’i Public Seed Initiative and the kohala center. Speakers included Hector Valenzuela, Russell Nagata and Glenn Teves from the University of Hawaii. Events took place in conjunction with Paul Massey and Jill Richardson of the Regenerations Botanical Garden, Chris Kobayashi and Dimi Rivera of Wai’oli Farm and with Sun and Lisa at One Song Farm.
